Essay

The procedures and testing equipment has been developed for investigating the mechanical properties of metallic composite materials (MCM) and their components, including ring-shaped structural elements on the basis of refractory materials, in a wide range of temperatures and strain rates. New experimental data have been obtained and generalized on the investigation of the strength properties of fibers, laminated MCM's, nickel screens and nickel matrix composites.
