Essay

Research of lasers on monohalogenids of noble gases has been undertaken in Thesis. For first time a thin structure of generation spectra of an XeCl molecule, which is caused by a rotational structure of the electron-vibration transition has been found. Generation spectra of monoisotope molecules of an XeCl have been obtained. Generation on new regions of an XeCl molecule spectrum was first ob-served. The generation of an XeF laser in the 352 nm region was demonstrated to correspond mainly to the 0-2 transition of large values of the rotational quantum numbers. Generation spectrum in the 350 nm region is due to the 1-3 (B-X) transition with the participation of the rotational levels of the ground state in the vicinity of a rotational barrier. This spectrum was previonsly considered to be due to the 3-3 (C-X) transition. Experimental verification of mechanism of the V-R exchange with a charge transfer was gained. The influence of a magnetic field on an XeF laser generation spectrum has been foud. It has been corroborated experi-mentally that excited state B1/2 is the compound state. For the first time the generation of XeCl, XeF, KrF end KrCl molecules in the electric discharge with no a buffer gas.
