Krasnyashchykh A. James Joyce: Peculiarity of the Artistic World and the Problem of Creative Method (Joyce's Ulysses)

The object of the research work are the ideological and artistic processes unfolded in the artistic world of Ulysses and Joyce's creative method. The research work is aimed at making foundation for the creative method of Ulysses. The research methods are historicalfunctional, comparative-typological and ideological-synthetical. The new methods of analysis as well as new principles of interpreting Ulysses have been elaborated. Total reestimation of priorities in joyceology have been proposed along with reaccentualization in estimating the main priorities of Ulysses. New results have been obtained which are to prove that Joyce's creative method encompasses the theory of epiphany, symbolization system and laughter profanation. The results of the research work may be used in textbooks and monographs as well as in high school lection courses.
