Ukrainian political reugrees and displaced persons after the Second World War. – Manuscript. The thesis for getting the degree of Candidate of the historical science in the speciality 07.00.02. – World History. – Tchernivtsy Yn. Fedkovitch State University, Tchernivtsy, 1997. There are revealed peculiarities of the Ukrainian emigration after the Second World War. There are esteblished reasons of the emigration, its main directions. It is analyzed a social structure of the ukrainian refugees, conditions of their life and labour in the prisoner-of-war camps, and later in the countries of their deportations.Ukrainian after-war emigration had strongly pronounced political character, variety of the social staff and a high degree of the national and cultural conciousness,a quick adoptation to the new conditions of life. Key words: an emigration, an immigration, displaced persons, refugees, an adoptation, a social staff, new conditions of life.
