Essay

The object of investigation: technological processes of zinc electroplating from weak-acid electrolytes. The aim: to develop new, pulse technologies of galvanizing from develop electrolytes. The methods of investigation: voltametry, potentiometry, temperature-kinetic method etc. Theoretical and practical results: the kinetic peculiarities of cathod processes and mechanism of concentration's influence components of electrolytes and parameters of polarizing pulse upon technological characteristics of galvanizing have been established. It is shown that use of pulse current lets deposit high-quality zinc coatings with a high rate in halfconcentrated electrolytes. The degree of integration: 3 new technologies has been developed and 7 ones has been integrated in 2 factories in Ukraine. The sphere of use: all the industrial interprieses and organizations which attend to develop and integrate new technologies of metal, especially zinc, electroplating.
