Moskalenko N. Structure-function investigations of Ralstonia solanacearum

Subject of investigation: 17 strains of Ralstonia solanacearum. Object of investigation: studying the composition and structure of lipopolysaccharides (LPSs) and aspects of theirs biological activity. Metods of of investigation: biochemical, physical-chemical, immunological. Results: The broad systematic investigation of LPSs and theirs components have been corried out. 7 types of O-specific polysaccharides have been determined, 6 of them for the first time. The comparing studying of the dependence of LPSs serological activity from structural features of theirs O-PS have been done also for the first time as well as showed the ability of R.solanacearum LPS and some of its components to reveal the interferonogenic and antimetastatic activity.
