Essay

The thesis is devoted to a study of NO for the purpose to establish the possible mechanisms of vasodilatatory action of calcium antagonists and to optimise the approach concerning the selection оf effective antihypertensive treatment. The drastic defficiency of nitric-oxide stable metabolite -nitrit-anion in whole blood and its plasma was found. The prominent fall of saturated fatty acid quantity in erythrocyte membranes observed. demonstrated that administration of brief and prolonged dihydropiridine calcium antagonists lead to normalisation of nitrit -anion in blood and to improvement of cellular membrane lipid profile.
