Essay

In the present dissertation work is studied the behaviour of the mentioned system of scattered surface small cracks propagated in the high-temperature nickel-chrome-base alloy EI698VD by conditions of tension and isothermal force-controlled low cycle fatigue (LCF) loading. New stochastic models to describe the formation of crack length distributions of surfase small cracks by their stationary and non-stationary growth were worked out. A method to predict the remnant life of an engineering component to its limiting state given by condition of presence of a crack with an inadmissible length was worked out. New regularities of surface small cracks accumulation and also the statistical distributions for their crack length and growth rate by conditions of tension and LCF loading of the alloy EI698VD were established.
