Tadzhiyeva O. Early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy in patients with insulindependent diabetes mellitus

Patients with insulin dependent diabetes mellitus were examined. The work is aimed: to optimize the diagnosis of early stages of diabetic nephropathy in patients with insulindependent diabetes mellitus (DM). Methods and apparatus: biochemical, immunological, radiological; computer, immunofluoreiscent microscope, gamma-camera MV 9200. Theoretical and practical results: The changes in the filtration-excretion renal function, renal hemodynamics that are manifested in the patients with preclinical stages of diabetic nephropathy were studied. The state of humoral immunity was characterized, the peculiarities of production of different class immunoglobulins, antibodies against basal membranes of renal glomerulus in patients with different stages of diabetic nephropathies including preclinical stages were revealed. The new: the character of changes in the partial functions and hemodynamical renal indices at early stages of diabetic nephropathy in the the pathients with type I diabetes mellitus were studied ag ainst the background of medicamentous tests with the captopril and indometacin. The level of approach: the proposing methods have been introduced in the endocrinological departments. Field of application: endocrinology.
