Essay

The thin axisymmetrical shells. Development of a method for creep-damage analysis and establishment of new laws of cyclic load influence on the durable strength of axisymmetrical shells. The methods are: computer modeling by PC on the base of asymptotic expansions, FEM, predictor-corrector method and the experimental modeling on the base of test device AIMA 5-2 and elaborated experimental equipment with mine furnace for experimental creep studies of shells and plates. The new method for creep-damage analysis of thin axysymmetrical shells under complex stress-strain state and cyclic loading have been developed. The new laws of a cyclic creep-damage and rupture of shells are determined. The new method and experimental methodics of the first time that allow to obtain valid diagnosis for durable strength of shells under cyclic creep on design stage. The results and conclusions are used in NSC KPTI. Used sphere is machine building.
