It has been established that the indices of lipid peroxidation and protein oxidation modification are elevated while the organism's antioxidant defence and detoxicating function of the liver are decreased. The use of the tincture of mountain arnica and a-tocopherol acetate in patients with viral hepatitis A, B, C, D, E restores dynamic equilibrium between the intensity of the processes of lipid and protein oxidation and the antioxidant system, accelerates the normalization of clinico-biochemical disorders, decreases the frequency of residual manifestations.
