The dissertation is devoted to questions of designing and operation of ship reserve Diesel-generators.It is shown that the ship Diesel-generators can not be controlled on temperature of cooling water and lubricant, the most informative parameter isa power of loaded Diesel-generator.The optimum control system of a process of loading a reserve Diesel-generator should provide a minimum duration of this process at a temperature tension in the most tensional details (head of a piston), not excereding tension, arising in a head of a cylinder at nominal settled load.The developed mathematical model of a process allows determining a value of allowable power of loading steps and their duration.Loading should occur, while a power of reserve and hase Diesel-generator are not equlled.For a Diesel-generator 8-BAH-22 this process does not exceed 30 sec. and consists from 19 steps.
