Zhadanov Y. Novel "1984" by George.Orwell in the context of the Antiutopia of the first half of the XX th century

The object of the research work are the ideological and artistic processes unfolded in the artistic world of "1984". The research work is aimed at revealiny of artistic peculiarity of the novel "1984", determination of the typological features of antiutopia of of the first half of the XXth century. The research methods are comparative-typo- logical, historical-functional, and systematical-integrital. The methodology of analysis of "1984" has been elaborated. The reestimation of priorities in orwellology has been proposed. New results have been obtained which are to prove that Orwell has performed as an innovator of antiutopian genre, has created a specine type of artistics: the synthesis of various genre tenderies. The results of the research work may be used in textbooks and monographs as well as in high school lection courses. The sphear of usage: the history of foreing literature.
