Khalak N. Scientific heritade, social and political activity of S.Tomashivsky

Scientific heritage, social and political activity of the ukrainian scientist S.Tomashivsky (1875-1930). The methods of the investigatoin are: biographical, comparative, problem-chronological, analitic and synteses. The scientist's scientific, social and political activity in Austro-Hungarian state, in the period of the struggle for independenct, in the Poland between wars is investigated completely. The main scientist's concern of the scientific works is: the data of ukrainian history, the history of the church in Ukraine till the middle of the ХІІ century and the new period, the history of Galicia in the middle of the ХVІІ century, the political history of the Austro-Hungary and Poland at the begining of the ХVІІІ century, etnographical researches. There were received the results in the fild of ukrainian history and historiography.
