Malyk A. The memoirs as a source of Ukrainian revolution history (march 1917 - april 1918).

The given Thesis is devoted the analysis of the memoirs dealing with Ukrainian national-democratic revolution (march 1917 - april 1918). The process of memoir compiling and publication is investigated. The role and the participation of the memoir authors in discribing events is established. The author shows the significance of the memoir for the research process of the main state-building problems and socio-political life in Ukraine under the ruling of Tsentralna Rada (the Central Soviets), and the development of the army in the Ukrainian Republic (Ukrainization of Russian Army, establishing of the Regular Ukrainian Army and the Black Sea Navy, formation of Sichovi Striltsi-, Vilne Kozatstvo-, Synya-and Sira- troops are depicted in memoir.
