Essay

The object of study: Landau-Lifshits equation, Nonlinear Schroedinger model, equation of the nonlinear theory of elasticity, Sine-Gordon model. The aim of study is the analysis of the kinetic and dissipative properties of nonlinear model systems. The methods: modern methods of mathematical and theoretical physics New results: kinetic equation for solitons has been formulated and entropy increasing theorem has been proved, the existance of the kinetic coefficiens of intrinsic friction and thermoconductivity has been shown, thus the method of investigation of kinetic properties of solitons has been suggested; the possibility of large scale dissipative instability in magnets has been considered; the relation of domain wall width and the biquadratic exchange constants has been found; the possibility of spin waves generation by scanning with a high velocity laser beam has been proposed.
