Subject of study: data of clinical, laboratory and instrumental examination of 1805 patients with extended gastric cancer (T3-T4) operated with gastrectomy. The aim of study - elaboration of new effective methods of surgical and combined treatment of extended cancer of stomach with purpose of improving immediate, remote as well as functional results of treatment. Methods and apparatus: clinical, laboratory, morphological and instrumental methods of examination, study of survival rate, ability to work and quality of life. Theoretical sense and newness: elaboration and substantiation of effective surgical and combined treatment of extended gastric cancer, based on appli-cation of postgastrectomy reconstruction. Practical results: improvement of immediate and remote results of treatment of patients with extended gastric cancer, solution to problem of medical reha-bilitation and quality of life.
