Essay

A new approach of interferon synthesis stimulation has been elaborated based on the concept of the directed complex interferonogen construction containing both single-stranded RNA and synthetic ligands. It was shown that some intercalators contained complexes are able to induce stable double-stranded RNA regions formation depending on a lot of conformational changes.Using a model molecular complex containing yeast RNA and tiloron the author evaluates interferonogenesis as well as antiviral and immunomodulating effect of inducers constructed and also their toxicity levels. A hypothesis concerning general interferon induction mechanism has been proposed.
