Gorovenko N. Diagnostics and treatment in patients with cystic fibrosis as outpatients and a readaptation of their families.

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of increasing of efficiency of diagnostics and treatment of cystic fibrosis. The new direction in complex care of the cystic fibrosis patients (children and adolescents) and their families is elaborated in the thesis. This direction is based on the technology of cystic fibrosis outpatients diagnostics and treatment and the readaptation of their families. A new clinical-pathogenetical classification of cystic fibrosis is developed and scientifically approved. It is proved that congenital bilateral absence of vas deferens is an incomplete (genital) form of cystic fibrosis. The analysis of main causes of misdiagnosing and non-efficient treatment of cystic fibrosis is performed. New algorithms of diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of cystic fibrosis patients depending on their age, disease form and severity are developed and scientifically approved. The system of determining the groups for dispensary observing due to cystic fibrosis is developed. The multistage character of readaptation in members of families with cystic fibrosis children is revealed. The conception of establishing intrafamiliar adaptivity and emotional stability in such families is developed.
