Researches object: new construction of the blast furnace shafts. Researches aim: the theoretical substantation, development and utilisation of new construction of shafts, introduced by large-sized cooled modules of the blast furnaces for ensuring of work reliability, increase campaign of furnaces, decrease of specific construction of materials, expeditures of labour and duration of their repairs. Researches performed by calculation and experimental methods. Reliability in explotation grounded theoretically and confirmed experimentally on 14 blast furnaces, a resources of which reached more 12 years. The outcomes of researches are introduced on 14 blast furnaces of various useful volume. Sphere use: metallurgocal industry.
