Essay

The weight function methods for stress intensity factor calculation in two- dimensional and three-dimensional bodies with cracks are developed. The strict method of the elasticity for the elliptical crack in the infinite bodies is suggested. The number of plastic limit state models are constructed for the piping elements with surface flaws of different form and location. The elastic analysis of pipe bend is performed. The relatively simple formulas for complex piping system calculation by method of initial parameters are obtained.
