Essay

Inhomogeneous beam-plasma systems. To study the linear conversion of the beam modes and electromagnetic waves. Methods of study - analytic and numerical calculations, numerical simulation. Non-resonant and resonant mechanisms of linear conversion and non-linear effects that restrict the field of their existence were investigated. The effect is proposed to use for beam radioemitters in the ionosphere, for the inhomogeneous plasma diagnostics, and for the plasma barriers transillumination. The field of application is plasma electronics.
