Pikhtovnikova L.S. Evolution of German Poetic Fable (13-20th c.): Genre and Stylistic Aspects. - Manusckript. Doctorate dissertation, Speciality 10.02.04 - Germanic Languages; 10.01.04 - Literature of Foreign Countries. - Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University, Kyiv, 2000. The dissertation focuses on the development of analysis foundations and studies of style evolution of German poetic fable in diachrony, down through its history. Concepts of evolutional and stylistic paradigm in linguistics and stylistics research as well as in literary criticism, i.e. research of fable stylistics as literature genre and text type, are determined within the framework of the system-structural and synergic approaches. Evolution of German fable style is explored from the point of view of the theory of self-organization systems. Synergy of style includes all system levels "social and communicative surrounding - language - fable - style - archetype". The model of style evolution and corresponding models of each epochar e developed where the main social, theme and style attractors and corresponding stylistic methods and stylistic peculiarities are counted. Evolutional and stylistic typology of fable is defined; main style archetypes are determined; they were developing down through ages and they exist at present: short rhetorical style archetype; poetic and entertainment style archetype; social and criticism style archetype; style archetype of fable for children and adults; style archetype of humour fable; modern style archetype of abstract fable with globalized symbol meaning. Comparative-stylistic analysis of evolution of German, Ukrainian and Russian fables is carried out. Both developed technique for classification of images-symbols according to their semantic capacity and the technique of determining and describing the style archetypes are applied. It is proved that the evolution of German fable style, Ukrainian fable style and Russian fable style is the same.
