Essay

The dissertation is devoted to solution of an urgent scientific and technical problem which is con-sistent with efficiency increase of the gas-turbine plants (GTP) cogeneration by means of profound utili-zation of heat energy. Such an utilization is provided by the turbo-compressor utilizers (TCU) included to the whole high-temperature gas-turbine engines used by local objects of the energy consumption. Several new methods, mathematical and program software for conducting research with thermal characteristics of GTP and TCU have been profosed. A complex of experiments with the GTP and TCU has been conducted. These experiments have proved high thermal and ecological efficiency of GTP with TCU of all modes of operation. The results of this dissertation have been used for design of new GTP-TCU cogeneration. They have also been used for new projects of GTP with TCU applied for both transportation and energy production purposes, and which is produced by the Ukrainian industry.
