Essay

Object of research: process of shaping of a structure of a contact zone. The purpose of research: establishment of regularities of formation of structure in a contact zone and development of methods of increase of water-resistance of asphalt concrete. Methods of research: calorimetric, spec-troscopic, dilatometric, standard. Equipment: a spectrometer, calorimeter, dilatometer, derivatograph. Theoretical and practical results: the concept of weak boundary layers of bitumen in a contact zone and receptions of increase of wa-ter-resistance of asphalt concrete is developed. Novelty: the criterions of forecasting of water-resistance of asphalt concrete and method of an evaluation of water-resistance of bitumen films are developed. Usage degree: is introduced on a network of highways and during the development of state standards. Field: construction of highways.
