The studies showed that in the grains of the quartz and in the coalmeasure sandstones, under the action of the thermobaric conditions, sistems of slideplanes and crystallike bodies, having comparable sizes in the limits of the each hierarchial level, are formed. Sutural and stylolitic microstrains and spongeous structures in the quartz grains of the sandstones have been found; new indexes of outburstness of rocks have been developed and used indexes have been improved. A method of defining the outburstness limits and the degree of the katagenesis has been developed. An important application problem of a complex prognostication of the Donbass sandstone outburstness on the basis of geological and technical data has been solved.
