Object of investigations: CaF2, SrCl2. BaХ2, MeFX crystals. Aim of investigation: Study of generation, structure and transformation of coloration centres. Methods: Thermostimulated depolarisation currents, optic absorption and luminescence spectroscopy. Results: The mechanism of generation of coloration centres in MeX2 crystals and the mechanism of their transformations have been established. Introduction: The results are used in the course of searching- for and elaboration of the lasers and scintillators. Application: The quantum electronics, luminescence and scintillation material science.
