Essay

The dissertation is devoted to growth and complex investigations of optical and physical properties of anhydrous lithium borate single crystals - compounds from Li2O-B2O3 system. The optical and thermal properties of Li2B4O7 and LiB3O5, the influence of radiation defects and radiation changes in optical absorption are investigated. The obtained anomalies of optical parameters on the temperature dependencies are connected with isostructural phase transition.changes in Li2B4O7 and LiB3O5 crystals have shown high radiation resistance of these crystals.
