Essay

The dissertation is devoted to stagy of features of holographic recording in photopolymer compositions that ensure formation of holograms during recording. We study the mechanisms of recording of volume and relief gratings and role of phase separation of composition in their formation. We determine the dependence of holographic characteristics of photopolymers from the thermodynamic affinity of components and kinetic parameters of polymerization and diffusion processes ensuring record. We also research the influence of dynamic effects accomplish recording in such materials on the gratings properties. The methods of optimization of compositions and conditions for effective and fast record are determined. The new photopolymers are developed. Holographic gratings in proposed materials are produced and tested.
