Essay

The thesis was devoted to the investigating of 869 patients which had epilepsy and they have made criminal acts. The broad band of clinical-dynamic manifestations of epilepsy was detected, on which hum noise they made criminal operations. Were defined: low level of social adaptation and negative social personal orientation at majority from them. We have analyzed a structure of criminal operations and have revealed high public danger of these patients (majority was the men). The correlation of personal, clinical, social, microenviromental factors and alcoholic intoxication in the genesis of perfect criminal operations and also was shown. Their many-valued role at different clinical stages of illness and at different aspects of criminal operations. For perfecting a forensic psychiatric evaluation of mental violations at of epilepsy and preventive maintenance of criminal operations of the patients, which have epilepsy, we have offered the new approaches, introduction in criminal and corrective-labour legi slation of Ukraine of the new rules of law.
