KUZNYeTsOV O. The surgical treatment of tachyarrhythmias: diagnostic, prophylactic and correction of complications.

The factors effecting amount of surgical complications were determined based on complex investigation of 691 patient operated for various tachyarrhythmias (TA). The experimental model of TA which lead to sudden cardiac death was created. The analysis of postoperative complications and mortality in patients with various TA was made. The indications and contraindications for surgical treatment were proposed based on the estimation of clinical, hemodynamic and immunological status of patients at different periods before and after the operation. The influence of immunologiocal disorders and lipid metabolism in pathogenesis of rhythm disturbances was determined. The assessment of efficiency of surgical treatment was performed using results of outpatient follow-ups. Using peculiarities of pathogenesis of TA determined during clinical and experimental investigations the technology of individual treatment of postoperative complications was performed which enhanced efficiency of known methods of treatment of th ese patients.
