Object of research - 553 patients with generalized parodontitis and experemental animals. Subject of research - the mechanisms of generalized parodontitis course, recurrence, its diagnostic and treatment. Lipid-eicosanoid conception of generalized parodontitis development and course was created. Lipid mediators spectrum and degree of its disorders define course features, development degree and clinics of generalized parodontitis and efficiency of treatment effect. A new complex of medicaments was proposed and studied in generalized parodontitis treatment: cyclooxygenase-2 and lipoxygenase arachidonic acid products inhibitors (mesulid, tekom) in combination with antiseptic chlorhexidine, membranoprotector lipin and sorbente silard P. This complex decreased inflammatory activity, lipid mediators content, normalazed microcirculation, led to the lasting remission. The using region is a medicine.
