The pecularities of structure formation under the preparation of silica by the silicon tetrachloride's hydrolysis at liquid phase and pyrogenous syntesis were considered in detail. The general regularities of acquirement of physico-chemical characteristics' set of the pyrogenous SiO2 depending on gasodynamic parameters of the SiCl4 flame hydrolysis' process were established.
