Malets'kyj A. Effectiveness of organo-preserving treatment of uveal melanoma depending on tumor clinico-morphologic features and antitumor resistance of organism.

The patients with uveal melanoma. The advance of efficacy of organo-preserving treatment of uveal melanoma on the base study of its clinico-morphologic features and antitumor resistance of organism with follow-up its correction by (-2b-interferon. Methods - ophthalmological, immunological. The role of organism's antitumor resistance was studied, prognostic tests in realization of organo-preserving treatment were determined, the immunologic method of determination of intraocular melanoma invasion into the sclera was elaborated. For the first time it was elaborated of combined use of (-2b-interferon with xenon coagulation of tumor, beta-application therapy, it was determined that this method increases the tumor regression rate. It was show the immuno-correct effect of laferon onto cellular and humoral immunity by uveal melanoma. The ophthalmologic laser device for this treatment was created. The method was applicated in practical work of ophthalmology hospitals. The use area is medicine, ophthalmology, o ncology.
