Essay

The objects are resonant phenomena in systems with nonlinear excitations, processes of soliton interaction, their dynamics and stability; the goal is the revealing of novel peculiarities of soliton dynamics in low-dimensional systems under real physical conditions and resonant fields; the methods are complex of analytical and numerical methods of solving the nonlinear equations. new results consist in discovery of the novel oscillatory instability of solitons, in the development of the concept of multisoliton complexes in dispersive media, in prediction of the resonance on solitonic internal modes; these developments of nonlinear resonant phenomena made up a new direction in the soliton theory; employment: the results can be used in energy and information conservation and transfer processes in microelectronics and instrument-making industry; introduction: the priority results were included in theoretical reviews in international editions
