Present a theoretical generalization and new energy-appoach-based solution of the scientific problem of the determination of the ultimate state of engineering alloys exposed to the action of electric current pulses and cryogenic temperatures. The author has substantiated and confirmed experimentally a concept according to which a part of the pulse energe, which stimulates attaining the ultimate state in a metal under the above conditions, is defined by the ability of metal to resist the action of the electric current.
