Essay

The evolution and establishment of the "new foreign policy" of England starting with the Cato-Cambrezi Treaty of 1559 and up to the Antverpen Treaty of 1609 have been investigated. The causes and essence of the changes in the English policy which brought about the country's rapid development and accession to the leading European countries have been examined. The prerequisites, development and results of the struggle of England with Scotland, France and Spain, and the impact of this struggle on European international relations have been considered. Methods and political tools used by England to resist the colonial monopoly of Portugal and Spain, the process of formation of shadow colonial structures have been highlighted. The role of confession factors and the character of secularization processes in the formation on foreign policy have been analyzed. The decision making mechanism and techniques used by England's top leadership in solving foreign police problems, as well as the gender component in polic y making have been shown.
