Gorbachenko T. Influence of Christianity to the growing of written culture of Rus-Ukraine: philosophy and religion aspects.

The dissertation is the first complex research of the influence of Christianity to the growing of written culture of Rus-Ukraine from the position of system consideration of ethnic and confession displays of its structure in contemporary religion science. It's proved the connection of written culture with historical consciousness, its role in preservation of ethnic and political self-consciousness of Rus-Ukraine. It was researched the role of language, writing, hand-written and printed books, monastic library as the elements of written culture system which act as the proof of understanding, aesthetic, spiritual and religious needs of the people and original means of reproduction of spiritual and religious life of socium, national style of thinking and mentality.
