Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of hemostasis disorders in persons who suffered as a result of Chernobyl accident in distant postaccidental period. The regularity in the development of hormonal, metabolic, immune and membrane disorders in the body of victims as a result of accident were studied with clinical, biochemical, biophysical, hormonal methods using spectrophotometer, spectrofluoro-meter, EPR-spectrometer, computer. Clinico-metabolic markers in the development of general manifestations of metabolic syndrome in victims of the Chernobyl accident were determined. Necessity to determine the presence of insulin resistance, changes in hormonal regulation, disorders in lipid metabolism, antioxidant state and phenomenon of autoagression was shown in victims as a result of the Chernobyl accident consequences for prognosing risk of the type 2 DM development, cardiovascular complications, ovary polycystosis, mamma cancer in persons of this category. Data obtained can be used in observation of victims as a result of accident and in lecture courses of medical institutions.
