Essay

The work presents a theoretical basis for the development of units of friction in machines with given differential wear characteristics through the exemple of internal combustion engines. The results of the research guarantee uniform wear on work surfaces during operation. The work offers a mathematic model of wear of surfaces at every point and describes composition of new cast iron and ligatures used to cast them. The cast iron manufactured by this technology increases wear on cylinder bushings and plunger circles in diesel engines.
