Essay

The character of disturbance of the main endogenous factors, which influences to the process of apoptosis-depending formation of dysplastic changes of gastric mucosa, and the role of Helicobacter pylori infection in case of progress of chronic gastritis was established. There was studied the state of gastric mucous epitheliocytes apoptosis with its regulator - Fas-antigen in patients with chronic gastritis and gastric cancer. There was worked out the recommendations concerning using morphological criteria of apoptosis, parameters of soluble Fas-antigen, prostaglandins E, estrogen receptors and serum gastrin level as additional markers for verification of dysplastic changes and gastrocarcinogenesis in patients with chronic gastritis.
