Essay

The objects are processes of interaction of electromagnetic irradiation and magnetic field with solids; the goal is determination basing on the garnet structures of the general regularities of formation of photoinduced optical and magnetic anisotropy, investigation of magnetization reversal under such conditions; the methods are magnetooptical methods of visualization of domain structures, methods of symmetrical analysis and numerical simulations; new results consist in resolving of scientific problem concerning the mechanisms of high-temperature photoinduced effects and magnetization reversal; employment: results can be used in information and metrological systems; introduction: results are important for following development of information technology, in particular for optical information storage
