The thesis is dedicated to research of underwater earth-moving machines work-ing processes. Are uncovered the gear and features of machines end-effectors inter-play with underwater viscous and plastic soils. The regularity of soil destruction is established depending on the fluid medium properties, hydrostatic pressures and pa-rameters of a working process. The model of destruction durability of a bottom soil by earth-moving machines end-effectors basing on usage of the rheological principles of solid deformed medium and is designed. The new methods, devices and equipment for definition of machines operation loads under water are built. The intrusion of in-vestigation findings in effecting has allowed to reduce terms of creation and to in-crease earth-moving machines productivity at the bottom of water areas by mainte-nance of conformity of their parameters to the actual operation conditions.
