Essay

Тhe theoretical and technological aspects of creation of the components and devices of Liquid Crystal optoelectronics were considered. The physical and technological ways of speed shutters based on electrooptical phenomena on the boundary glass-liquid crystal are demonstrated.The ways of creation of the Cholesteric reflective bistable liquid crystal displays were developed. New liquid crystal materials, new principles of electronics driving for displays and some technological ways of orientation were considered.Display measuring system for characterization of the main parameters and characteristics of displays was demonstrated.
