Essay

The dissertation is devoted to working out and theoretical explanation of dry catching and dust separation devices. Ihey are fundamentally based on the established rules of inertia, diffusion -, and magnetic processes of dust precipitation; measured physical properties of dust and exact calculating of parameters of power fields, which were used in experiments. The dissertation contains method and device description worked out to determine mechanical electrical and magnetic properties of dust. Analytically found formule are used for calculating parameters of constant magnetic field. The author has carried out theoretical research to changing these parameters in dependence on geometrical size and shape of magnetic systems. The following dry catching devices surpass in effectiveness already existing filters of this type, such as horizontal and vertical collecting chambers with fibre curtains, cyclone devices with concentric area and magnetic field in their work areas, able to separate dust by its size and magnetic properties, of inertia-electrostatic dust collector, electrical filter with magnetic field in its work area, concentrating complexes made of these devices.
