The dissertation is devoted to investigation of modern investment strategies of transnational corporations and their influence on national economics competitiveness. Evolution of national and international regulation of transnational corporation activity is studied. The main competitive advantages of leading transnational corporations are revealed. Regression models that show the quantitative and quantittative connection between inward and outward foreign derect investments and the main economic indicators of twenty eight countries are created. The influence of the transnational corporation foreign affiliate acrivities on the intirnational competitiveness of national economics is learnt. Actions to increase the international competititveness of Ukrainian economy are suggested,
