The thesis is devoted to analysis of theoretical, methodological, organizational and legal basis of the activities of internal affairs bodies concerning the insuring of human rights and freedoms. There are the definition of nature and system of human rights and freedoms, the analysis of international standards of the insuring of human rights and freedoms, and the ways of their realization in the law system of Ukraine, the determination of the place of the activities of the internal affairs bodies in the mechanism of the insuring of human rights and freedoms, the clarification of tasks, functions and particularities of the activities of internal affairs bodies concerning the insuring of human rights and freedoms, the analysis of the system of administrative legal means of the insuring of human rights and freedoms by the internal affairs bodies, the determination of ways of improvement of the activities of the internal affairs bodies in this field
