Essay

Object: the Ukrainian question in the Soviet-Polish relations in 1920-1939 as the historical phenomenon and public-political process. Aim: to illuminate process of the decision of the Ukrainian question by the Soviet Union and Poland in 1920-1939, to open its value and place in a history of our state. Methods: comparative, concrete-historical, system-structural. Results: for the first time in domestic historiography the Ukrainian question and ways its decision in the Soviet-Polish relations in 1920-1939 is complexly investigated. Sphere of use: for the decision of urgent questions of development by Ukraine of mutual relation with Russia and Poland at the present stage, resolute overcoming of the inherited negative stereotypes.
