Dissertation is devoted tj the study of the role of defensins in regulation of the activity of EGF receptor in human tumor cells. The data received allow to conclude that human beta-defensin-2 is an autocrine efector of protein kinase activity of EGF receptor and respectively may influence proliferation of human malignant and normal epithelial cells.
