Essay

Use controlled of thermonuclear reactions in the industrial purposes and new types thermonuclear devices is offered: electrostatic and electromagnetic traps of high-temperature plasma. The key ideas of high-temperature plasma confinement by the electrical and combined electrical and magnetic fields are formulated and proved. The results of researches of plasma accumulation, heating and confinement in electrostatic and electromagnetic traps are given. The classical character of plasma confinement in electromagnetic traps is confirmed. The conceptual projects of thermonuclear reactor "Elemag" on 1 million kWt of electrical capacity and neutrons sources "BK-NS" and "Jupiter - NS" are developed.
